ABEL's Student Desk is customized to meet the individual needs of the student. through the incorporation of many special features. The desk is constructed with 3/4" and 1/2" maple veneer plywood core and all trim, molding and drawer fronts are made from solid maple.

Trim and edging are both beveled to reduce injury and the Student Desk is assembled using glue and wood screws on all joints, trim and moldings. Screw holes are finished off with maple doweling, leaving no screws exposed and brass hinges and screws are used in adjustable angle surface. The desk is finished with multiple coats of safe, high quality lacquer.

These durable, high quality constructed desks offer: custom features; incremental height adjustments; wheelchair accessibility with an in-laid, angle adjustable surface and computer compatibility. They are versatile and stable with many options to accommodate the individual needs of the student. The desk also meets criteria set for funding (ie ISA 2004, Easter Seals, etc).
