ABOUT ABEL
The Haldimand Norfolk Work Group of Simcoe Inc. (operating as ABEL Enterprises) began in 1981 as a grass-roots initiative when 5 individuals formed friendships through social entrepreneurship.
They worked together to provide yardwork services in Norfolk County, and in 1983 the group incorporated to become a mental health agency through the Ministry of Health.
Today, ABEL Enterprises continues to support consumer-survivors of mental health and addictions in our community.
